Software architecture

ZMS requires the installation of the application server ZOPE. ZMS itself is a so-called ZOPE product, which is embedded in the ZOPE environment. By this means you enlarge ZOPE with a new management interface for editorial contents. The ZMS interface hereby concentrates on functions for text input and text attribution. Data are saved in an XML form, so that both import and export of contents are possible.

You obtain the application server ZOPE for the current operation systems on the ZOPE website as well as on some Linux distributions (e.g. SUSE). The ZMS package can be received at the rubric "Download".
