Gesundheit NRW - The Health portal of the Province NRW

'Gesundheit NRW' (engl.: Health NRW) is an information service developed on behalf of the provincial government. The portal provides for the search of therapeutic options and contact persons in the health sector always up-to-date and quality assured data. The former static website shall now become more efficient and cost-saving per editorial system.

The website is meant as portal and therefore maintains mostly external links that must be integrated homogenously. For this a dynamic frame construction has been set up that is invoked through a Special Object.

Template Model

On basis of Model-2 pop-up menues are generated per HTML selection lists; this way allows overlapping of external frame contents.

Special Objects

The referencing to external contents takes place via a special object (type document) carrying beside the link further attributes like DC.Description, provider´s logo etc. The object template calls a corresponding frameset construction keeping the page header consistent (e.g. regarding micronavigation). The presentation of the clinical pictures is structured by a module that prescribes the content standard.
