The former static website shall now become more efficient and cost-saving per editorial system.

  Introduction of an editorial system for internal maintenance of the continual increasing document quantity. Extensive redesign and introduction of an efficient publishing process for differently structured document types.

  The Walldorfer InterComponentWare AG with its electronic patient chart LifeSensor is Germany´s leading e-Health provider. For the maintenance of the Corporate Website the multiligual publishing model of Zope/ZMS was used. The template model shall picture the data and design migration of the former JSP-Site 1:1.

  Setup of an encyclopedic information service about the activities of the Medical Competency Net aided with federal funds. kinderkrebsinfo.de is the joint information portal of the 'Gesellschaft für Pädiatrische Onkologie und Hämatologie' (GPOH) (engl.: Association for pediatric Onkology and Haematology) and the 'Kompetenznetz Pädiatrische Onkologie und Hämatologie' (KPOH)(engl.: Competency Net pediatric Onkology and Haematology).

• Network Epidermolysis bullosa
  The Network Epidermolysis bullosa gives attention to the causes, diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment of Epidermolysis Bullosa. The website shall make the clinical picture known to a broad public. The project is state-aided by the Federal Ministry of Education and research.

• Homepage of the Oecumenic Hainich Clinic, Mühlhausen
  The Hainich Clinic is a specialist hospital for Neurology, Child Psychiatry, Psychiatry and Psychotherapy and the largest psychiatric clinic in Thüringen. The homepage shall provide information for patients and their relatives, for doctors and organisations. The webserver operation of the clinic places emphasis exculsively on Open Source.

• Homepage of the ONKODIN project: oncology, haematology - data and information
  Construction of an easy operating editorial surrounding sufficiently covering the complex demands of medical publication. The contents are produced decentrally by members of corresponding working groups. The technical entrance conditions are rather small or heterogenous. Therefore the editorial and technical coordination is realized by the MMP publishing company.

• ONKODIN Illustrated Book - Image database for haematological cytology
  The haematological illustrated book contains microskopic pictures of normal cells of blood, bone marrow, lymph node and of haematologic deseases. The image descriptions are complemented with additional laboratory test results. The database is systematically and continously enhanced with interesting results and cases that are made available by the authors and other interested persons[Published Winter 2002].

  The pilot project "electronic supported Disease Management in the Practice Net Nürnberg Nord" for the indication arterial hypertension is supported by the federal association of health insurance funds 'Bundesverband der Allgemeinen Ortskrankenkassen' (AOK). The scientific accompaniment is conducted by the institute for health and social research 'Institut für Gesundheits- und Sozialforschung' (IGES). In a closed, only for project members accessible area analyses and reports concerning quality assurance can be found.

  Creation of a multilingual editing and publishing system for the Europe-wide product dissemination in 9 countries resp. 12 languages. A main target was to keep the workflow as easy and slim as possible and to make central control possible which gives the local editorial staff enough space. The multilingual portal will go online in the beginning of 2003.

For the continuous update of documents and the maintenance of database content a simple OpenSource editing system was wanted that well integrates applications.

  At www.klinikum.uni-erlangen.de medical practioners and patients can inform themselves in detail about the extensive range of services of the 33 facilities of the university hospital. The pages are accessible designed and can also easily be read by handicapped pesrons.

Therefore now ZMS is introduced as editorial system via ZOPE and at the same time a transparent publishing model is established. The relaunch happens until end of the year 2002.
