The ZMS framework lays the ground for an eLearning environment modelled with special objects. Beside the maintenance of learning contents the project specific configuration offers a simple course model with the integration of participants´registration/administration, dates, polls and communication tools (forum, newsletter).

Template Model

Based on templatemodel-II and V a special navigation was created listing characteristic course functionalities in the horizontal channel navigation while course contents appear in the left-side macro navigation.

Special Objects

Short description, registration form, participant profile, abstract, date, forum, poll. An aggregate of these elements and more standard elements forms a "course object"; this is provided as ZMS module for authors.
