The Information and Communication Technology Commission (IuK) for Higher Education of the state North Rhine-Westphalia has awarded the ZMS based implementation methodology and technology. The department-specific web activities have been clustered and integrated in a multi-client hierarchy resp. maintained via a homogeneous CMS. The project has started with a departmental enabling (on-site coaching, training, joint project initialising) and has been realized primarily by internal staff resp. accompanying coaching measures. Relaunch has been Q1/2003.

Starting with the question how to establish department-spanning Web Content Management efficiently at all, a workplace coaching approach was chosen that emphasizes the modelling of processes, architectures and contents. The received performances at first serve the competency building of the internal staff (trainings); the publishing model with ZMS is elaborated in joint workshops and then independently refined resp. established. |
