ZMS has a unique multilingual model; by this new language versions of existing contents can be built and edited in best time. The system targets on most easy use and ensures that the user never looses the overview about ten or more language versions.
In the ZMS configuration menue any numer of new language versions of the website can be generated; since version 2.2 ZMS works with Unicode and makes a consistent presentation of ontents and editorial interface possible at any time. With the declarations of "previous language" even lingual hierachies can be pictured (like e.g. Belgium, Suisse). With a subject heading index (see the lower half of the image)important words for navigation can be centrally maintained.
ZMS task list records which documents are to be translated. A comparison of versions helps to always stay 'up-to-date' with the documents to be translated: changes from the last translation on can be highlighted in the text. |
