This ZMS-Add-On introduces a MediaPlayer to the ZMS-framework. A gallery is included to display images, for audio/video the JW PLAYERS (by jeroenwijering.com) are used.

Installation: since ZMS 2.10.5-6:
1. import Configuration Package (zip) (Configuration > System)
2. add to template [standard_html_header] resp. [headScript] the following line:
<dtml-var headScript_Mediaplayer>
After correct setup these Special Objects are inserted into your ZMS configuration:

This package consists of five Page-Elements for different media types:
ImageGallery creates galleries with three modes (overview with thumbnails, preview with picture, detailview inline or new window). ImageRotator uses a Flash-Player to show a couple of images in sequence, with fluid transitions between them. MP3Player supports playback of MP3 files. MediaPlayer uses a Flash-Player to playback media files (e.g. flash video .flv). VideoPlayer adds support of RTMP streams.
MediaContainer can be used for storing the media files and brings a ZIP-archive upload feature.
Library contains the python scripts and common utilities.

Schematic Overview |
The Flash-Players support a wide range of flashvars (settings) for tweaking both behavior and appearance. The most common can be configured via the ZMS interface - others can be easily added to the templates (bodyContentZMSCustom) of each Special Object.
In addition methods of ImageGallery f_css_defaults, showoverview, showpreview und showdetailview are subjects to customize the display.
