In case of very long object lists (e.g. 40 documents) large-volume HTML streams are rendered for the interface and transferred. The page reproduction is correspondingly slow.
Solution: With the Compact View child objects in the editorial interface can be rendered faster and more code-efficiently. The configuration happens in the system menue under point Miscellanous "Compact View". Here the object limit can be stated up to which the standard view with complete action list is rendered.

Comment: Of course, the fastest presentation of long object lists can be achieved per Zope mode (/manage_system); then however the presentation is missing essential object information about sorting, access rights and lingualism so that this very shortened presentation primarily fits for close-by system operations.
