The whole editorial interface is completely browser based and uses only HTML and some easy java script functions. So ZMS is easily available with every system software and even older browser variants. (Note: The best performance can be reached with MS Internet Explorer.) The editor doesn‘t need to realise any installations. Only a standard browser has to be available.
The procedure for the construction of a document is as follows:

  1. Insertion of a document object
  2. Attribution of the document object (title, short title, description etc.)
  3. Insertion of a text (or a table, a data file etc.)
  4. Processing (text input) of this text
  5. Assignment of the structure element ("size") for this text (headline, standard text etc.)
  6. Repetition of the procedure "Insertion of a ..." at will

In this way the document is written with browser forms at intervals (alternatively to the gradual document construction, the import of an XML text flow is also possible). Working with a workflow, finally the document release has to be carried out so that the document can be seen in the web.
